Tatyana Short Hairstyling

*** Tatyana is a hairstylist who came to us for a new look. She wanted to try a shorter cut and donated some of her hair to make sure we could use it for someone else after she was done with it. We did some light cutting and thinning, then added ombré highlights so it would shine in the sun!

Tatyana is a good friend of yours. She has a great sense of humor, and she’s always supportive of your goals. She’s adventurous and likes to try new things; she even went skydiving once!

Tatyana came to us for a new look because she wanted something different from her usual hairstyle. This is how we did it:

First, we shampooed Tatyana’s hair with our Japanese shampoo. Then, we blow-dried it upside down to add volume and smooth out the ends.

She wanted to try a shorter cut, we donated some hair and now she has a great new look!

Tatyana was looking to try a shorter cut, so we donated some hair. The result is fabulous!

The color is beautiful and the ombr? highlights shine in the sun.

The cut is beautiful and easy to manage. The layers add movement, making it look like the client has been growing her hair out for months.

The shape was easy to achieve because her hair was already in good condition, it just needed some light cutting and thinning.

Don’t use too much product or you’ll end up weighing down your hair, which will make it look flat. And don’t use too many styling tools like blow dryers, straighteners and curling irons; that way you can keep your style looking fresh longer!

The final touch was adding some volume to the back of her hair, which is where most of our clients want more volume. The key here is not to overdo it with product or heat styling tools. The color is beautiful as well, I love how the ombr? highlights shine in the sun! It’s easy to maintain and suits her skin tone. Tatyana loves her hair and says she will never change it again.

She is so happy with her new look that she did not even notice a slight mistake made by the stylist. The hair color was a bit too bright and shiny, so we decided to tone it down.

Tatyana was very happy with the result and said she would definitely come back to me for another haircut. I love doing this kind of work, because I know how much it means to my clients. They are always so grateful, and that makes me feel good inside.

If you have long hair and decide to go short, you should know that the transition could be difficult.

If you have long hair and decide to go short, you should know that the transition could be difficult.

First, make sure that your cut is right for your face shape. Next, check out our color guide for tips on matching up your skin tone with a flattering hue (and don’t forget about highlights!). Thirdly, keep in mind that hairstyles come and go–but if you choose a style that doesn’t fit into your lifestyle or personality well enough for it to last more than a few weeks at most (or even just one day), then what’s the point? Finally: take care of those locks!

It’s important to remember that hairstyles are all about you. You’re the one who has to look at your reflection every day, so make sure it’s something you can stand behind 100%. Consider what works, what doesn’t, and why–and then go with your gut.

If the thought of going from long to short hair is making you nervous, then there are a few things you can do to make it easier. First, grow your hair out a little longer than you want it (but not too much longer). Next, start getting used to wearing your hair up or back in some way–maybe with a headband or pin. Finally: when the time comes for that haircut, it won’t be such a shock!
